Hello everyone! Kohomada? (How are you?)
I'm writing to announce that I will return to posting regularly very soon!
I'm sorry to have been gone for so long, and I'm looking forward to posting again.
The reason for my absence is that I moved abroad! Living abroad can be nice but, as many of you might know, quite hectic.
Having to learn a new language from scratch has taught me so much about language learning. With that in mind, I am starting a new series of lessons, which I am calling "Sinhala from Zero".
This series will include rewrites of some of the earlier lessons with audio and practice exercises after each lesson.
However, the old lessons won't be going anywhere. You can find them on this page here or by clicking the "Old Lessons (In order!)" link on the right-hand side of the main page!
The first post in this new series is already up: Sinhala Pronunciation: Sinhala from Zero (Chapter 0)
I plan to post every Friday by 12:00AM UTC, but I may post more frequently than that, so make sure to check for updates!
Lastly, I just wanted to thank you all for reading. Making this blog has really motivated me to keep improving my Sinhala. Let's keep learning together!
